We are live. A quick hello from the family behind the Foundation and what we are working on.
Welcome to the Hazzy Forever Foundation.
We started this Foundation after our family was directly affected by childhood cancer. Our 1 year old, Harris (or Hazzy as he is affectionately known) was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma. An extremely deadly and insidious form of the disease.
After years of treatment in Melbourne our little legend finished his mainline treatment and we were able to return home to Tasmania. We then decided we needed to help other families going through the same nightmare.
What we are working on
- Supporting families. Childhood cancer is brutal on the whole family. We raise funds to make life a little easier for the ones living through it.
- Funding research. Neuroblastoma has chronically low survival rates. We are helping to fund research aimed at changing that.
- The Hazzy Forever Classic. Our inaugural fundraising event. Pick a distance, lap the Hobart Domain Athletics track, raise funds to fight childhood cancer.
We will keep this news section updated with event details, milestones, and stories from the families and researchers we are supporting.
